Welcome to The Thrive Society
Why would you want to simply survive when you can choose to thrive?
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer 9 years ago, I was definitely in survival mode. Going through the motions, racking up achievements. Ticking boxes. All good.
So how come, in the midst of a major health scare, it didn’t seem all good anymore?
I realised I had been simply allowing my life to unfold, one foot in front of the other. Which is so, sooooo normal, especially when ‘technically’ you’re a big success. Familiar?
It was no longer good enough
Breast cancer was the challenge (obstacle) that pushed me into action. Pointing me towards more meaning, passion and purpose.
It got me thinking…… what do I want to be known for? I realised corporate success wasn’t it. Not even close.
I learned this too.
We get so busy with the ‘lifing’ we don’t look after ourselves properly. Nor do we make the space to reflect on what we genuinely want.
What do you actually want?
When was the last time you spent time on your own considering this?
I finally left my corporate advertising career 9 years later, in December 2018.
Today, I’m in the business of helping people have better lives and more fulfilment. Specifically, busy professionals who are stuck or struggling, learn to thrive. My heart is full!
Back to thriving
It’s in the sum of our daily beliefs, thoughts and behaviour. We get to choose each and every day.
Option A: survival mode (let life happen to us)
Option B: thrive (design a life that we love)
Which will you choose?
This week I launched a new Facebook community group called ‘The Thrive Society’. It will be home to a tonne of inspirational content, free video trainings, and a community of awesome and engaged people.
Here’s a taster of topics on the agenda in the comings weeks:
Empty cup syndrome
How to go from procrastination to action
Breaking addictive patterns
Building your courage muscle
Mastering your mindset
Boundaries - get some and stick to them
Dealing with stress
Losing weight without going on a diet
Oh and yesterday I posted a free 20 minute Yin Yoga class. It’s yours to enjoy in the comfort of home, whenever you want. As long as you’re a member of the Thrive Society that is!
So, without further ado….
You’re officially invited to come join - click here and don’t forget to choose thrive when you do.
